DIY Club 2016-2017
Do It Yourself Club has started on the 1st October 2013. We are going to create monsters, sew dolls, make Halloween masks, Christmas and Easter cards, draw amazing pictures, make origami animals, and more! Each week we will make a Project and I will post them here.
We started the 4th year of our DIY club. Turns out the kids loved it and we are going to continue our creative adventure this year as well!!!

Stay tuned for the news!
In the beginning of the school year 2016-2017 we met with our little brave creators and collected their ideas about what we will do this year. Here's what they suggested:
bracelets, baby dolls, carton makets of ships, Halloween badges, origami, masks, cards, etc.
I have 8 girls and 2 boys this year :) Ages 8-9. They seemed very eager which is great because I really enjoy creating something like we used to do with my grandma. I'll try to document our progress here :)

In the past month this is what we did: 3D paper monsters, Halloween invitation cards, origami and sewing badges. The badges will be worn next week for Halloween! Will post photos soon!
Halloween is coming soon, so we made invitations to the Halloween party! Date: 22.Nov.2015
Look what amazing Yarn dolls we made in the past 2 weeks! The kids were excited that they made their own dresses at home and presented them at school! All dolls had names, and jobs and favourite things!
We made telephone holders and decorated them. This was our first attempt at sewing. Let's see what will happen next week!
Last week we started this Project poster. Every kid introduces him/herself and writes the name of the Project that they want to make. Then they write the date when they started and later when they've finished, that date as well. So far some kids brought photos, some didn't, but I guess the word is spreading about what we are doing, cause I just had 4 new girls who wanted to join our club today! Yey!
